The Greater Pascack Valley Chamber of Commerce works within the business and residential communities of the Pascack Valley to provide opportunities for all to expand their everyday lives. During the year, the chamber holds different events such as:
Networking events – gives members and other businesses an opportunity to exchange ideas to expand their customer base. Events are held at member locations.
Citizen of the Year Dinners – an annual event to honor a local resident and/or business that gives back to their community.
Job Fairs – our first job fair in April 2011 attracted over 200 people; we hope to have another job fair soon.
Hippity Hop – our annual Easter egg hunt held on the lawn of United Water brings over 100 children to visit with the Easter bunny, enjoy songs and light refreshments.
Business Expo – A Showcase of local businesses presented to local residents.
Other events are currently being planned and will be added to our calendar soon.
THE GREATER PASCACK VALLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE was established more than 40 years ago to promote the business and community interests of the ten towns in the valley.
Monthly breakfast and quarterly lunch meetings of the board of directors and members are held on the first Tuesday of each month excluding July and August. Additionally, a series of networking events are held during the year whereby members and potential members can exchange business ideas and make contact with new companies and individuals.
The Chamber provides support for community projects including borough social services, community hospice, The Center for Food Action, Pascack Valley Historical Society, Spectrum for Living and the American Legion. In addition to these monetary gifts, many Chamber members volunteer to participate in the activities of these groups.
Moderate membership dues, based on the number of employees, are on a sliding sale to encourage participation of businesses of all sizes. A special individual membership is available to residents who are not associated with any business within the Pascack Valley, but who would like to participate in the benefits of the Chamber of Commerce activities. ...
