As concerned individuals working together at the GPVCOC, we foster a vital and responsive chamber of commerce, which results in a better return for business, professional and industrial development.
Experience the Benefits of Dual Membership
Membership in the Greater Pascack Valley Chamber of Commerce is not in lieu of membership in one or more of the local town Chamber of Commerce organizations. In fact, we encourage dual membership and have structured our membership fees to provide discounts for those who are members of a local Chamber. Dual membership allows local businesses to extend the reach and benefits of membership to the entire greater Pascack Valley and not limit it to just one town. For a list of Chamber of Commerce organizations for the ten towns in the greater Pascack Valley, please visit our webpage entitled, “Local Town Chamber of Commerce Organizations.”
Not All Pascack Valley Towns Have Chambers
While the Greater Pascack Valley Chamber of Commerce greatly supports the local town-based Chamber of Commerce organizations, not all towns in the greater Pascack Valley have active Chamber of Commerce organizations. The GPVCOC may provide the only local Chamber representation and benefits for their town including Emerson, Old Tappan, Washington Township, and Woodcliff Lake. Two other towns, while they officially have Chamber organizations do not have any websites nor the benefits which they provide.
Whatever the situation in the town where your business is located or where you reside, you can benefit from membership in the Greater Pascack Valley Chamber of Commerce. To learn more about these specific benefits, please visit our webpage entitled, “Benefits of Membership in the GPVCOC.”
THE GREATER PASCACK VALLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE was established more than 40 years ago to promote the business and community interests of the ten towns in the valley.
Monthly breakfast and quarterly lunch meetings of the board of directors and members are held on the first Tuesday of each month excluding July and August. Additionally, a series of networking events are held during the year whereby members and potential members can exchange business ideas and make contact with new companies and individuals.
The Chamber provides support for community projects including borough social services, community hospice, The Center for Food Action, Pascack Valley Historical Society, Spectrum for Living and the American Legion. In addition to these monetary gifts, many Chamber members volunteer to participate in the activities of these groups.
Moderate membership dues, based on the number of employees, are on a sliding sale to encourage participation of businesses of all sizes. A special individual membership is available to residents who are not associated with any business within the Pascack Valley, but who would like to participate in the benefits of the Chamber of Commerce activities. ...
