The Greater Pascack Valley Chamber of Commerce (GPVCOC) will be hosting a free networking luncheon on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 12 noon to 1:30 PM in the “Community Classroom” at the Hackensack University Medical Center at Pascack Valley (formerly Pascack Valley Hospital). Networking and interaction with other like-minded businesses in the greater Pascack Valley is one of the major reasons for local and regional businesses to join the GPVCOC (the only regional chamber covering the Pascack Valley).
Excellent Networking Opportunity
“This mid-day networking event on Saint Patrick’s Day is an excellent way for local professionals to network, share insights, and learn more about the Chamber and its activities and opportunities… and all this while getting lunch too,” said Margaret Sanchez, Event Committee co-chair. Chamber president, Stephanie Dack, noted “The Greater Pascack Valley Chamber of Commerce is committed to support local businesses and philanthropic endeavors and are happy that our local hospital is supporting this event. This free networking event is actually open to everyone, members and non-members alike.” Long-time Chamber member and supporter, Community Life of Pascack Valley, is the sponsor of this networking event.
Discounts and More
Besides networking with local businesses and residents, attendees can take advantage of business discounts and learn about valuable services provided by Chamber members. For example, Chamber member Erika Deer-Kelley, a professional photographer, will be offering on-site discounted headshots charging only $25 (her regular retail price is $100). Lewis Marchiona from the Bergen County Chapter of Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) will also be exhibiting. SCORE pairs retired business professionals with start-ups and established businesses in need of assistance with basic business functions. Score offers the nation’s largest network of free, expert business mentors. Johl & Company will also be onsite to share perspectives on health insurance considerations for individuals as well as small and medium sized businesses.
How To Attend
There is no cost to attend this lunch time networking event; however, there is limited capacity. All interested attendees should RSVP by March 11th to Melissa Nesbitt (Event Committee Co-Chair) at (201) 664-3700 or MNesbitt@KearnyBank.com.
