The Greater Pascack Valley Chamber of Commerce has added eCommerce to its website by integrating PayPal services throughout the site. This new online payment service greatly enhances the ease of doing business with the Chamber for member businesses, residents, and the business community at large. Credit and debit card transactions charges are easily made with PayPal whether online or in person.
With it’s initial integration, the GPVCOC is now accepting payment via PayPal for:
- New Member Dues
- Membership Renewals
- Tax Deductible Donations to the Chamber
- Tickets for the annual Events (such as “Citizen of the Year” Dinner, and “Breakfast with the Mayors”)
- Credit/Debit Card Swipes in Person with mobile readers
Use of Paypal will expand as an option for all financial transactions with the GPVCOC.
Founded in 1998, PayPal continues to be at the forefront of the digital payments revolution. It is an American company operating a worldwide online payments system that supports online money transfers. It also serves as an electronic alternative to traditional paper methods like checks and money orders. The company operates as a payment processor for online vendors, auction sites, and other commercial users. In doing so, it charges a small fee in exchange for benefits such as one-click transactions and password memory. With their 173 million active customer accounts, Paypal has created an open and secure payments ecosystem that people and businesses choose to securely transact with each other online, in stores and on mobile devices.
